Life, outside of the nutshell
Why not? This question should be asked more frequently amongst ourselves. People think that they are born to be a certain way and are born to do different things than everyone else. Truth is, your not. Yes, we are all unique in our own way, but who says we have to stay on a path? Why not venture off that path? Explore, find new opportunities, meet new people. There is no rulebook to dictate what must be accomplished in your life. You are your own pilot, you can do anything. Don't focus on the negative of life, find a positive and pull it out. You only get one life, there are no second chances, so enjoy the moment and don't race to find the end result!
So far, I'd say the I have definitely ventured off the path. I've been form the east coast of Prince Edward Island to the west coast of British Columbia and I've been from the Hudson Bay down to the Gulf of Mexico. I've skated on the same ice as Stanley Cup champions in Detroit, and I've played golf along side a heard of elk in Banff, Alberta. I've jumped off a bridge, caught fish bigger than me and rode gondolas in the heights of the Canadian rockies. I've won championships in hockey, baseball, golf, track, and dodgeball, yes I've won WCSSAA dodgeball. I love to spend time with my family and I believe there's nothing wrong with hugging your mother in public. I am much more than just your typical teenage boy, I am Jonathan Petro.
